Battle of BC is an annual convention that takes place in the Vancouver Convention Centre in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Attendees from around the world come together to celebrate their love of gaming while competing in fighting game tournaments, participating in side events, watching exhibitions, and more!

Regular Competitor Registration ends. After that point, Late Registration will be available up until one week before the event. Spectator passes will remain available up to the weekend of the event, with on-site registration for spectators available at the door while supplies last.

Battle of BC 7 will feature our largest Artist Alley and exhibitor area yet, with plenty of different vendors and community artists to check out in the main hall! Whether you’re looking for merchandise, controller parts and repairs, or high-quality custom prints of your favourite characters, we’ve got you covered.

Battle of BC 7 is taking place March 28-30, 2025 in the East Building of the Vancouver Convention Centre. The tournament brackets, vendor hall, concession, and main stage are in Convention Hall B, with a ton of other activities and side events located on the building’s second floor.
There are a number of different pass and registration options for Battle of BC 7. If you’re planning to compete in any of the event’s official tournaments, you will want a Tournament Competitor pass.
A 3-day pass is required to enter Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, or Rivals of Aether II, while a 1-day Saturday pass can be used if you want to compete in Street Fighter 6 or TEKKEN 8.
If you would just like to spectate the tournaments, you can pick up a Spectator pass which gives you full access to the event and the ability to participate in some of our casual side events and other programming.
If you’re a a high school student or are currently enrolled in a college or university program, we have a student pass available at a discounted rate until the end of February.
Unfortunately, we are not able to refund tickets once they have been purchased. However, we are happy to accommodate pass transfers if you find somebody else who would like your pass. Please join our Discord server or email us at battleofbc@galint.gg to request a pass transfer.
Yes! We will have tons of fun activities and side events at Battle of BC 7 that are available for competitors and spectators alike!
In addition to the official tournaments, we will have competitive ladders and casual setups upstairs for all of our main titles, a ton of community-run side tournaments, casual side events like Rock Paper Scissors and Simon Says, a free-play area, tables for board game and trading card game enjoyers, and so much more!
